Embassy Suites in Jacksonville, FL is currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our growing team The Housekeeper carries out a series of cleaning functions when a guest leaves the hotel, such as changing bed sheets, polishing the furniture, replacing used towels, vacuuming carpets, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms in accordance with Company standards to ensure the highest level of cleanliness.
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, change sheets and replace linens
- Restock and replace used items within guest rooms
- Clean and check under bed
- Vacuum carpet
- Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms
- Reports maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager immediately.
- Clean wash basins, tubs, showers, counters and glass surfaces removing all smudges and marks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner
- Properly tags lost and found items and turns them in to management.

**Qualifications**:

- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
- must be able to perform repetitive cleaning and folding moments for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
