Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

**Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Part-Time)**

Trained to work under the supervision of the Pharmacist on duty to compound and dispense prescription medications with adherence to USP 795, 797 and 800 rules and regulations.

Perform mathematical calculations to determine appropriate drug measurements in order to compound medications

Perform required cleaning and disinfecting of clean rooms, ante rooms, hoods, compounding equipments and other areas in the pharmacy.

Assist with maintaining inventory and ordering chemicals and other pharmacy supplies

Perform all regular Pharmacy Technician duties including but not limited to answering phones, processing prescriptions and billing insurance companies, customer service and handling any customer queries or complaints

**Education and Experience requirements**
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior Experience as a pharmacy technician is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish are a plus.
- Strong references on ethics, professionalism, work place, and team-work
- Must pass all background checks and drug tests

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 36 per week
