**What You’ll Do**:
**Champion Safety. **Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.

**Collaborate. **Work closely with operations management on capital replacements and maintaining costs within budgets.

**Develop Training. **Assist in the development of training programs for operators and mechanics on Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

**Monitor Maintenance. **Monitor oil sampling program. Identify problem areas with equipment and work closely with plant management to schedule preventive maintenance, major component replacement, repairs, or rebuilds. Track, trend, and report on relevant maintenance and equipment key performance indicators.

**Perform Inspections.** Perform routine inspections of mobile equipment at the plants with plant personnel to ensure equipment is safe and properly maintained. Coordinate and substantiate equipment data collection. Analyze, communicate, develop, and execute action plans.

**Maintain Relationships.** Establish and maintain good relations with OEMs and other mobile equipment vendors and service providers. Develop and manage these contacts to provide the best and most cost-efficient services for the division. Gather and disseminate information and updates from OEMs.

**Champion Continuous Improvement.** Promote “Best Practices and Standards” for mobile equipment.

**Additional Responsibilities.** Other duties as assigned.

**Skills You’ll Need**:
**Education. **Must have a BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Engineering, an advanced technical degree, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.

**Experience. **Must have at least 10 years of progressively responsible management experience in directing mobile equipment preventative maintenance programs.

**Maintenance Knowledge. **Must be familiar with reliability centered maintenance principles.

**Interpersonal Skills. **Must have verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and vendors.
