School Custodian

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for school custodians in Huntsville, TX.

Our job as Custodians is **ALWAYS** crucial but during this time our community needs us even more. We are hiring, full-time custodians am and pm shifts, for elementary, middle school and high schools. **MONDAY - FRIDAY, OFF ON SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES & GREAT STARTING PAY.**

**Pay**:$10.00/hour

**Shift**:Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

**Responsibilities**
- The Custodian will maintain physical and cleaning needs of the District's buildings by performing routine and moderate to heavy manual work
- This incumbent will ensure that all District buildings assigned is in a condition of operating excellence and cleanliness providing safe, comfortable, and healthy environments for students, teachers, staff and visitors
- Sweep, wet and dry mop, buff and wax floors and participate in floor stripping
- Vacuum and shampoo carpet removing stains and sanitizing
- Clean and sanitize restroom floors, common areas, classrooms, etc.
- Use various tools to remove scuffmarks from floors in rooms and halls
- Clean and sanitize walls, sinks, urinals, and commodes; remove wall spots and stains
- Clean windows and mirrors as well as baseboards
- Clean, wash and/or polish cafeteria tables, counter tops, and fixtures
- Dust furniture, desks, woodwork and blinds, counter, and tabletops
- Remove paper, trash, and garbage from assigned areas and place in proper containers for disposal
- Any other job duties as assigned
