Babysitter

Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

**We’re currently looking for a Babysitter in South Carlsbad, CA**

A lovely family in South Carlsbad is seeking a long-term occasional babysitter for their active, independent, and creative 10-year old to start as soon as possible. Backup care is needed intermittently as needed and during school breaks and can fall on any day between Monday-Friday from 11am-5pm. Occasional assistance with picking up the child from school or camp would also be helpful.

- **Compensation: $20-$25 per hour**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Engage with and spend time with the child through various activities
- Going for walks or playing in the local parks
- Planning activities for the child to engage in
- Prepare and provide lunch and snack

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years of professional childcare experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Driver’s license + reliable vehicle
- Clean driving record
- CPR certified or willing to become certified

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- After school
- Day shift

Supplemental schedule:

- On call
