**Duties**:
- Provides customer service.
- Assists in the execution of community special events.
- Cleans work areas by sweeping and mopping floors.
- Shreds paper, files documents, paints, dishwashes, and assembles simple furniture.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- May be exposed to adverse weather conditions when working outdoors, exposed to noise, dirt, and dust.
- If under the age of 18 and you have not obtained a High School Diploma/GED a work permit will be required prior to appointment date in accordance with state of CA requirements.
- Requires a flexible work schedule to include days, nights, weekends, holidays, special events and other assigned shifts.

- IAW the Fort Hunter Liggett collective bargaining agreement, Night Shift Differential and Sunday Premium ae not authorized for Pay band postions.

**Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances**
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.

- These are Flexible on call positions and employees may work up to 40 hours per week but is based on peak seasons and mission requirements. Flexible positions are not entitled to benefits at this time.
- This is a mixed job, designed specifically for smaller NAF activities that required flexibility in employee work assignments. May be assigned to other activities based on mission requirements.
- 180-day Restriction for Military Retirees: Military retirees are unable to be appointed to NAF positions for 180 days after their retirement date, as documented on their DD-214. Military retirees who have been retired from the military for more than 150 days may apply; however, they will not be appointed until they have reached the 180 day mark.
