Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipping Clerk.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

**What you’ll do**:
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Parcel Support Clerk**
- Prevent and troubleshoot logistics incidents that may cause or had caused in-transit delays.
- Create and process BOL for assigned outbound shipments.
- Tracks, traces, update, and correct the status of outgoing shipments and any related shipping errors.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for system related or operational improvements to their direct leader.
- Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility
- Works to maximize asset utilization to ensure full truckloads are being shipped.
- Responsible for driver load monitoring, including resolving any issues that may affect the scheduled times for pickup or delivery, while proactively communicating to the affected customer.
- Implement and support behavioral based zero incident safety culture.
- Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure they are consistently practiced.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers to expedite the workflow and ensure the established quality expectations.
- All duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of Company and employee objectives and/or goals

**Qualifications**:
**EDUCATION REQUIRED**:
High school diploma or GED required

**Skills**:

- Having both a Tactical and Strategic mindset while anticipating where issues may arise
- Ability to work thru roadblocks to achieve goals
- Time management, multi-tasking, ability to perform under pressure
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with Accellos One WMS a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements a plus
- Seizes opportunities and proactively takes concrete actions to complete tasks. Goes the “extra mile” and persistently overcomes obstacles to improve outputs.
- Takes an efficient, analytical approach to solve problems or produce outputs in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures quality and accuracy of results.
