**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- Strong math background and comprehension
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Patience and the ability to work well with children
- Any previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus
- Must be able to work Mondays to Fridays from 2pm onwards
- Must be able to travel to assigned schools

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach/tutor using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
- Actively encourage, motivate, and engage with students during their session
- Evaluate and document student progress
- Correct student works and provides positive constructive feedback
- Manage student behavior to create a positive environment that optimizes learning
- Communicate student needs to center leadership and to instructional staff in a team-teaching environment.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
