Summer Camp Teacher

The Summer Camp Teacher is directly accountable to the Program Director. He or she works with other Lead Teachers, children and parents to ensure that the atmosphere and activities at the camp reflect the goals and mission of Karter Preparatory Academy.

Embraces and implements our school's mission and philosophy; participates in the Christian-centered life of our school and guide summer camp children to uphold our school policies.
- Develops STEAM, creative, and fun ideas with clear goals that can be modified based on needs of children regularly.
- Collaborates with other teachers to plan and implement games and activities that children will enjoy.
- Supervises and ensures the safety of camp participants.
- Establishes a good rapport with parents, campers and other teachers.
- Works with the Director to execute responsibilities relating to the facility use.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Experience
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)

Ability to pass background check through fingerprinting.
