**HOURS**
- Part-time, Nights - Saturday & Sunday from 10pm - 6am
- Overtime and Weekend required based on business needs_
**REPORTS TO: Security Manager**
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the security and safety of the shipyard premises. Monitor the front gate and access points around the shipyard.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS**:
- Patrol buildings, grounds, and perimeters of the shipyard via golf cart or on foot.
- Investigate suspicious activities and disturbances.
- Immediately report security breaches to designated law enforcement agents.
- Prevent illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
- Informing personnel and visitors of security procedures.
**Requirements**:
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:All types of physical movement required for this position to successfully perform the essential functions.
- Ability to move around the shipyard in heat, inclement weather, and cold.
- Ability to use a golf cart or walk around perimeter on foot.
**MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**:Normal level of visual acuity needed. Must be able to understand and follow directions. Normal hearing level needed. Hand-eye coordination required.
**HAZARDS**:Weather, fumes, moving mechanical parts, equipment, and vibration.
