Patient Transporter

The Patient Transporter assists patients with transfer between different areas of the hospital for testing, admission, discharge, or other reasons. Also distributes equipment and supplies to appropriate departments.

**Exciting Entry Level Position with extensive opportunities for Growth including tuition reimbursement and internal promotion**
- Assists patients of varying mobility using transfer techniques and/or lifting devices, when needed
- Maintains cleanliness of equipment and ensures it is stored properly
- Communicates relevant information effectively to hospital departments and management
- Works closely with nursing to maintain patient safety

**Required**: High school diploma or equivalent, prior medical and/or customer service experience preferred
