**Head Baker**

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all general duties in the kitchen including but not limited to baking, frying donuts, preparing ingredients, shaping doughs, etc.
- Must be able to prioritize and finish all tasks assigned for the daily baking.
- Create product recipe and conduct sensory evaluation of new food products when requested by the upper level management.
- Weekly physical inventory of all materials and supplies used in the kitchen.
- Purchasing and ordering supplies and materials used in the kitchen.
- Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
- Responsible for organizing kitchen work schedule, keeping track of kitchen staffs’ hour.
- Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste.
- Follow instructions given by the Supervisor/Upper Level Management
- Coordinating daily kitchen management operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen.
- Ensure food safety standards.
- Must be able to lift and hold 50lbs+.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Confectionery/Foods major recommended
- Relevant experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Food Handler’s Certificate preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge on food producing process, sanitization, quality program.
- Knowledge on food producing technique, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice/procedure.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Food safety, food labeling, nutrition related knowledge (include FDA)
- Ability to multi-task
- Provide good customer service internally and externally
- Data acquisition, organization, analysis and deliver results
- Multiple priority management abilities
- Bilingual with Spanish or Korean is a plus, but not mandatory

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
