As a key member of our retail staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and maintaining a positive shopping environment.

**It is vital to understand that this is a **_**physical retail job **_**where we collectively work a lot of weekends and late nights moving heavy items. We are looking for people that show up on time and are excited to shape a new business from the ground up with passionate and like-minded people.**

Having retail purchasing experience and a ABRA managers license would be amazing.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable recommendations.
- Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, and promotions.
- Ensure a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the overall customer experience.

**Product Knowledge**:

- Develop a good understanding of our wine, beer, and liquor product offerings.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new releases, and promotions.
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on their preferences.

**Merchandising and Stocking**:

- Assist with stocking and replenishing shelves to maintain a visually appealing store.
- Arrange and display products in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors.

**Cash Handling and Transactions**:

- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment in a secure and efficient manner.
- Provide correct change and receipts to customers.

**Compliance and Responsible Service**:

- Adhere to all policies and procedures related to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Verify customer identification to ensure legal age requirements are met.
- Promote responsible drinking and assist in preventing underage sales.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience, especially in the wine, beer, or liquor industry, is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Consistently able to reliably show up on time.
- Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Managerial and purchasing experience would be great.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of POS systems is advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
