**THIS IS FOR AN OVERNIGHT RETAIL POSITION - WEDNESDAY THRU SUNDAY**

- Be knowledgeable of the Do's and Don'ts as an armed SPO in the District of Columbia when it comes to the "Use of Force Model" in regards to the SPO guidelines.
- Be able to properly write and read an incident report if one does happen on the property. The narrative is the officer's documented account of who, what, when, where, how and why. It should be clear, concise and easy to understand.
- Be knowledgeable of different kinds of Non-Communication and De-Escalation methods.
- The officer must be on time for the shift - no exceptions.
- The officer is not allowed to be on the phone or wear any ear plugs while on duty unless there is an extreme emergency.
- The officer's uniform must be clean, pressed, nicely polished and also work properly.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- REQUIRED: Possess a valid DC armed special police commission (we are able to assist with renewals, if the license is valid)
- Minimum of 2 years of security, police or military experience
- Able to be on time, every day, with no callouts
- Able to stand on duty and maintain focus and energy

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a working smartphone
- Must have or be able to acquire full duty belt (Note: we provide uniforms at no cost to employee)
- Must be able to maintain a sharp uniform and appearance

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
