**Description**

Coordinates the university's international student admissions and services.
- Serves as Designated School Official for F-1 student visas and Alternate Responsible Officer for J-1 visas.
- Prepares Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) reports of enrollment, employment, and academic progress of international students.
- Counsels international students and applicants regarding enrollment, employment, visa status, academic progress, and immigration.
- Coordinates international student services with UHV Katy campus.
- Develops and implements processes and procedures for international students; maintains related policies and procedures manual; and updates related forms and web information.
- Collaborates with colleges and administrative departments regarding international policies and procedures, cohort agreements, and retention of international students.
- Coordinates international student programs and events, and represents International Program office at university student events.
- Prepares weekly international student newsletter to communicate important events and reminders.
- Monitors international student scholarships, which includes maintaining volunteer hours.
- Administers international student health account, and serves as liaison to health insurance carrier.
- Assists with international student recruitment events when necessary.
- Represents department on campus committees.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

**Minimum Education**: Bachelor's degree in student counseling, business administration or related field; Master's degree preferred

**Minimum Experience**: (2) years related experience

**Minimum Salary**: 3,111.33 Monthly
