**PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

The primary responsibility is with Manufacturing Process Verification, through First-piece inspection of a new CNC Program and the related detail operations. This process is to validate the CNC Program and the Manufacturing Plan prior to release for production of the new part.
- Prepare reports for CNC Programming and Engineering, detailing any nonconforming items so they can be corrected.
- Prepare FAI CMM Reports and point map reports per customer requirements.
- Complete AS9012 FAI reports for the CMM portion in cooperation with the Bench FAI Inspector.
- Perform tool proofing and verification for hard detail tooling (drill jigs and templates primarily).
- Perform precision layout of 2nd operation hole locations in the absence of tooling, using the CMM.
- Investigation of problems to define actual conditions and participate in the determining root cause, in conjunction with manufacturing.
- Perform repetitive (production lot) inspection for Key Characteristics and customer-required 100% inspection using the proven CMM Program.
- Perform specific special assignments as described by supervision or management.

Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as stated in various safety-related training programs: this includes but is not limited to, lockout/tag out, electrical code safe practices and confined space entry programs.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Must have PCDMIS or a related CMM Programming language experience.
- Must have knowledge of machine shop manufacturing operations and processes.
- Ability to responsibly report to manufacturing personnel on detected anomalies and on corrective measures.
- Ability to responsibly report issues and escalate within the appropriate chain of command.

**PREFERRED SKILLS**
- Laser Tracker and / or Articulating Arm CMM experience using Verisurf Software.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 10 Years manufacturing experience can be a mixture of both manufacturing and inspection.
- Must be familiar with Quality and Inspection processes and documentation requirements.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

Assignment is on 1st Shift. Current schedule is 8-12 hours per day. 10 hours per day is common, overtime is assigned as commensurate with current workload.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 72 per week
