**Job Description**:
As a Cafe Associate, you will represent Red Truck Bakery. You will be the first person that guests interact with; as such, your primary responsibility is to ensure a quality guest experience for all patrons.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide stellar hospitality, including greeting patrons and guiding their bakery experience, including responding to questions, filling orders and maintaining the dining space.
- Perform daily operations, including but not limited to:

- Maintaining tidy store appearance; cleaning
- Taking orders in-person and over the phone
- Cashier duties - sales & returns
- Maintaining and filling trays, display cases and stocking coolers
- Stocking and merchandising
- Maintain complete knowledge of the RTB menu, including dietary restrictions, daily specials, seasonal offerings and sources of ingredients
- Adhere to all RTB policies and procedures
- Follow dress code and be neat in appearance

**Requirements**:

- Ability to read, write, and communicate well with guests; legible handwriting; basic math skills
- Excellent work ethic with ability and desire to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Able to work up to ten hour shifts
- Must be able to work at least 4 shifts per week.
- Able to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep the café operating smoothly.

Please note that RTB has two stores and from time to time the work schedule may include shifts at one or both locations.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
