**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The Wealth Management & Investment Solutions (WMIS) business offers individuals and families personalized, comprehensive financial solutions that integrate sophisticated investment management, capital markets, trust and banking capabilities. WMIS covers all aspects of the Wealth Management coverage including the Private Bank, J.P. Morgan Advisors, First Republic Advisor and Chase Wealth Management. JPMorgan was recognized in 2023 by Euromoney as the world’s best private bank.
The Global Investment Strategy team is focused on macro and market themes that impact investors. The team’s mission is to attract and inspire client activity with investment advice and insights. Led by the firm’s Global Head of Investment Strategy, Grace Peters, the team helps our clients make better, more informed investment decisions. Also, they enable our advisors to access new clients; and build stronger relationships with existing clients through an active and ongoing dialogue about capital markets.
Job Responsibilities:
Analysts on the Investment Strategy team will interface with solutions partners across Wealth Management to craft and develop messaging of investment themes, assisting with global business strategy, and contributing analysis and materials for Investment Strategy content. Analysts will grow to be well-versed in a substantial variety of financial market, macroeconomic, and investment strategy concepts.
This Analyst/Associate will assist the strategy, coordination, and production of key investment materials developed for our US Private Bank and US Wealth Management franchises. Focus will be on the end-to-end process of market commentary materials as well as ad-hoc team projects and analysis.
**Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities**
- Broad understanding of J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Wealth Management platforms, including internal processes, products, and platform.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to unsupervised follow-up.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fast learner; strong initiative; confidence to make independent decisions on behalf of business stakeholders; desire and ability to synthesize a variety of businesses priorities, complex financial concepts, and investment themes.
- Demonstrated ability to outperform in demanding and fast-paced work environment.
- Acumen and familiarity with all asset classes, macroeconomics, and wealth management disciplines across the firm.
- Executive presence, exceptional aptitude, positive energy, and confident demeanour.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Experience working with Python
- Spanish/Portuguese language skills
