Stem Teacher

Qualifications: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Elementary Education Endorsement, and Math, Science, and/or Technology Specialist Endorsement, preferred.

Description: Under direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Personnel and Technology Integration Team, the STEM teacher is responsible for the development, delivery, and implementation of STEM-oriented instruction through project-based learning methods for grades K - 4. The STEM teacher will encourage student engagement in small-group learning experiences to solve problems through collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. STEM lab will move to a different school each trimester and the STEM teacher will be responsible for facilitating that move.

Pay: From $48,739.00 per year
