**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Essential Functions**:

- Read and understand spec sheet and production orders to set-up machines correctly to produce a quality product.
- Measuring, calipering, and checking the overall quality of the tolerances per spec sheet.
- Understanding all machine operations to cut the product to spec sheet/customer specifications.
- Operate the machine effectively and efficiently to minimize waste.
- Analyze packaging and make adjustments when needed.
- Identifying quality deficiencies and ability to identify and perform corrective action.
- Ability to communicate finished product on production order.
- Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up and other essential tasks assigned.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., bend, stoop and twist throughout the work day.
- Thread winders to produce a quality core utilizing various layers of paper.
- Perform Snake Lace technic continuously to secure tubes for transport.
- Tie bundles, pack boxes, stand on end etc.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**:
Full time, 2nd shift. Flexible start and stop times. Daily hours could be up to 8+ hours per day.
- Monday to Thursday: 3pm - 1am and Friday: 3pm - 8pm plus clean up time, overtime as needed.
- Rate of pay starts at $26.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $29.85 per hour.
- Job is located in New Oxford, PA.

**Required Education and Experience**:
1. High school education/GED.

2. 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.

**Additional Eligibility Qualifications**:
1. Basic computer skills.

2. Math skills.

3. Mechanical ability.

**Employment is full-time through a local staffing agency. Once applicant has completed the required contract hours with the staffing agency and met performance standards, regular employment will begin with Yazoo Mills. Hours worked under the staffing arrangement are credited toward service time and benefits eligibility.
