Seeking an experienced Upper School Science teacher to join our dually-accredited (Cognia / ACSI) Preschool - 12 classical, Christian school to teach our high school scholars. Must be experienced with technology and incorporate it into the instruction when possible to enhance instruction.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide a consistent Classical, Christian learning environment and well-managed classroom.
- Teach science to high school students while cultivating a lifelong love for science and all of God's creation.
- Teach science-based electives such as Robotics, Graphic Design, Animation, etc.
- Practice the integrity of classical, Christian education utilizing teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Provide lab-based instruction.
- Prepare weekly plans and unit plans and execute those plans while instructing, assessing, and evaluating students.
- Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students and parents via student/parent portal.
- Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate students' progress, and manage laboratory projects as required by the scientific discipline and school health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of school programs.
- Participate in meetings and professional development in order to maintain and improve professional competence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by direct administrator.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Previous experience in classical school teaching high school science with technology integration is preferred.

Alignment of purpose with school's philosophy and beliefs as an independent, classical, Christian school.

Pay: $33,000.00 - $36,500.00 per year
