As a Children's Swim Instructor at Splash Swimming in MEQUON, Wisconsin, you will have the opportunity to teach children the valuable life skill of swimming in a fun and safe environment. This is a part-time, hourly education job in which you will work to create a positive and engaging learning experience for children. You will play a vital role in instilling confidence and water safety skills in young swimmers while providing excellent customer service to parents and guardians.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $11 to $15 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition, you will have the opportunity for growth and development through ongoing training and professional development opportunities at Splash Swimming. As a part-time employee, you may also be eligible for certain benefits such as flexible scheduling and employee discounts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage a class of students and provide hands on swim instruction while following our proven swim curriculum
- Provide instruction on proper swim techniques and water safety
- Ensure a safe and clean pool environment at all times
- Communicate clearly and effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and swimmer progress
- Continuously monitor and supervise children in the pool area
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all swimmers and their families

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 16 yrs of age
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt and modify teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual swimmers
- Must be able to pass a background check if over 18 yrs of age
