Carnicero
Propósito
El Carnicero asistirá al Gerente de la Carnicería en la operación correcta del Departamento de la Carnicería. Esta persona cortara carne y trabajara para obtener resultados operacionales satisfactorios, siempre apegados a los procedimientos y políticas de la empresa, asi como a los objetivos de la compañia. El Carnicero debe tener un comportamiento profesional, con actitud positiva y hacer toma de decisiones en cualquier momento que le sea requerido.

**Responsabilidades**:

- Preparar y acomodar los cortes de carne y los productos en el mostrador y la vitrina de acuerdo a las políticas y procedimiento de la compañia con el fin de crear una apariencia y un apeal atractivo para los clientes.
- Asistir al Gerente de la carnicería a mantener los inventarios a níveles adecuados de los productos, la carne y los utensilios de trabajo.
- Enforzar los procedimientos establecidos, los cuales cumplan con las regulaciones de salud, los códigos y reglas de la ciudad, regulaciones de medidas y pesos; asegurando que se cumplan los estándares de todos los departamentos.
- Cortar, deshuesar, quebrar, hacer chorizo y moler carne como sea requerido.
- Asegurarse que el producto este fresco y sea de alta calidad.
- Usar cuchillos y equipo de poder eléctrico, cortar o empacar la carne de res, productos derivados del puerco y del pollo de acuerdo con las políticas y procedimientos establecidos por Leevers.
- Asegurarse que el mostrador y las vitrinas tengan precios y estén correctos, que la carne este muy bien presentada, acomodada y comercializada para maximizar las ventas.
- Mantener la rotación adecuada de los productos perecederos y no perecederos de acuerdo a las políticas de Leevers, ya sea tanto en el mostrador, en el almacén y en los cuartos fríos.
- Empaquetar, pesar y ponerle precios a las charolas con carne.
- Etiquetar los paquetes de acuerdo a las regulaciones de COOL, USDA y estándares de Leevers.
- Recibir, inspeccionar y acomodar la carne una vez que haya sido entregada, para mantener la cadena alimenticia y asegurar su calidad.
- Asegurarse que los estándares de calidad y sanidad estén a la orden del día apegados a las políticas de Leevers.
- Mantener un ambiente limpio y seguro para los clientes y los empleados.
- Construir y mantener una relación de trabajo positiva con los compañeros y empleados.
- Excelente servicio al cliente.
- Proteger la propiedad, fondos y mercancía de la compania en todo momento.
- Puede ser asignado a trabajar en mas de una de las tiendas de la compania.

Experiência, Educación Relevante, Certificaciones, Conocimiento, Destrezas y Habilidades
- Debe de ser mayor de 18 anos de edad
- Diploma de Preparatoria o equivalente
- Dos anos de experiência cortando carne, incluyendo el uso de herramientas de mano y equipo de poder eléctrico, como cuchillos, rebanadoras, molinos, serruchos y maquina para hacer cubos de carne.
- Conocimiento del producto y habilidad de entrenar a otros miembros del equipo. Experiência de entrenamiento o supervisión seria un plus.
- Excelente comunicación oral y escrita
- Excelente servicio al cliente y habilidades de liderazgo
- Debe de ser dependiente y tener flexibilidad para trabajar
- Debe de seguir las reglas del uniforme de trabajo

Requisitos Fisicos
- La mayoría del tiempo este trabajo es realizado en un ambiente de temperatura controlada de 38-45 grados Celsius
- Requiere la habilidad de alcanzar, agacharse, balancearse, levantar y mover o transportar varios objetos de un peso de 30 libras repetidamente durante el turno de trabajo; algunas veces, los productos pueden pesar de 100 libras. Requiere la habilidad de mover productos pesados con alguna ayuda.
- Debe de tener la habilidad de estar parado, caminar y/o moverse durante periodos de tiempos extendidos.
- Requiere la habilidad de empujar, jalar, agarrar, girar y usar movimiento giratorio por periodo de tiempos extendidos.
