The Esports Coach is responsible for recruiting, preparing, supervising, skill development and training his/her respective team for competition. The Coach will develop skills in participants related to video gaming and instill high standards of ethical conduct and compliance with all rules and regulations of organizations/sports governing bodies that SCCC is a member. Requires a vision to create, build and drive growth for an intercollegiate Esports program.

Main Duties:
1. Conduct meaningful training/practice sessions.

2. Coordinate scrimmage and game competitions.

3. Oversee conduct in the Esports room and care of equipment/computer related items. Make recommendations on purchases of items related to the Esports room.

4. Recruit student-athletes to participate in the program. Make decisions as to participants within the program.

5. Stay current with rules, participant academic requirements and other related regulations.

6. Provide input on types of video games SCCC will commit to participate.

7. Keep current and update required websites.

8. Demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship and conduct becoming of the coaching profession.

**Education**:
AA Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

**Essential Skills**:
Organization, Various Computer related skills

**Salary**: $2500.00 per semester
