Job Title: Pet Bather

Overview:
Join our team at Beach Barkery as a Pet Bather and be a part of a passionate group dedicated to providing top-notch pet care services. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of our furry clients.

Starting pay:
$14 Hourly + Tips

**Duties**:

- Bathe and dry pets according to specific instructions and breed requirements
- Handle pets with care and compassion during bathing and grooming sessions
- Assist in nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland expression
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming salon, such as, vacuuming, laundry, kennel clean up and sanitation
- Monitor pet behavior for signs of distress or discomfort during grooming procedures

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a pet care environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
- Knowledge of veterinary procedures or certification as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus
- Familiarity with pet care practices, including pet sitting, dog handling, and animal care
- Ability to handle animals safely and confidently
