Shop Foreman

Overview: Looking for a shop foreman with mechanical abilities, self-motivated, driven, and observant with attention to detail.

1. Receive material and equipment, inspect for damage and notify parts person of arrivals.

2. Tag items with WO numbers and put in proper area.

3. Maintain support vehicles tires, inspections, oil, service, cleaning, fuel, trailer lights and

brakes.

4. Load and unload trucks.

5. Restock materials returned.

6. Survey shop tools make repairs as needed or notify if replacement tool is needed.

7. Identify if we are out of something and order replacement inventory if advised.

8. Keep the shop clean and orderly.

9. Direct parts runner

10. Function as second runner when needed.

11. Keep the parking lot clean and organized.

12. Have knowledge of loading materials and securing loads with chain and binders or rachet straps.

13. Ability to pull a trailer and back up a trailer.

14. Conduct basic small engine repair.

15. Provide oil changes and greasing of backhoe and skid loader.

16. Check and verify operation of drain cleaning equipment.

**Requirements**:
1. Valid drivers license.

2. Pass drug test

3. Lift over 50 pounds

4. Able to climb ladder.

5. Effective communication and listening skills

6. Operate Fork Lift and scissor lifts

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
