**Bartender**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at a fast paced recreational facility with a bar and cafe. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of beverages, taking orders, and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-stocked.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements
- Collect payments from customers and process transactions accurately
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

**Skills**
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with different types of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails.
- Banquet service: Experience in providing service for banquets or large events is a plus.
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math calculations for handling payments and making change.
- Food safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure proper handling of food and beverages including ServSafe certification.
- POS systems: Experience using point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately.

**Requirements and skills**
- Resume with proven professional experience as a Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Ability to consistently be aware of inventory
- Enthusiastic and Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
