The Department of Health Services (DHS), Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) is recruiting for a Job Coach Supervisor. CWC provides short-term and long-term residential services to assist people living with intellectual disabilities in acquiring the personal skills needed to reach their highest potential. CWC is located at 317 Knutson Drive on the North side of Madison.

This position will typically work daytime hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday. We offer a team-oriented atmosphere and a focus on work-life balance. CWC also has a 24/7 fitness center, free parking, and is on the Madison Metro bus route.

**Position Summary**:
As the Job Coach Supervisor, you will serve as a liaison between the Staff Development Department and Residential Living Units. The primary responsibility will be to oversee CNA Job Coaches who are responsible for training newly employed CNAs. This includes:

- Developing and implementing training schedules for new CNAs.
- Supervision of the CNA Job Coaches to assure performance of tasks, functions and responsibilities necessary to train new CNAs while also providing quality care for residents.
- Counseling and evaluation of the CNA Job Coaches and coordination of their schedules and assigned duties for training.
- Ensure that new CNAs complete training and are able to successfully and competently work in their assigned position.

**Salary Information**:
The starting salary is $33.93 to $34.98/hour (approximately between $70,500 and $72,750 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.

**Job Details**:
All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.

All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by CWC or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date.

**Qualifications**:
Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:

- Experience using computers and programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to others.
- Experience using adult learning principles and best practices to train adults.

Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:

- Supervisory experience including performance evaluations, resolving conflict, assigning/reviewing work of subordinates, scheduling, interviewing or recommending hiring of staff, etc.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and providing care and treatment.
- A valid CNA certification or obtainment of CNA certification within 3 months of appointment.
