Food Runner

**Position Overview**:
As a Food Runner at Charm Thai Kitchen and Bar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food service in our upscale Thai restaurant. You will work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Delivery**: Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food items from the kitchen to the appropriate table, following established service standards.
- **Quality Assurance**: Verify that all food items meet our quality standards before leaving the kitchen, ensuring presentation and temperature are optimal.
- **Timely Service**: Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of food orders, minimizing wait times for guests.
- **Communication**: Maintain open communication with kitchen staff and servers to relay any special requests or modifications to food orders accurately.
- **Table Setup**: Assist in setting up tables with necessary utensils, condiments, and other items to facilitate smooth food service.
- **Guest Interaction**: Provide friendly and professional service to guests, assisting with any inquiries or special requests they may have.
- **Cleanliness**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food running station, ensuring a neat and sanitary work environment at all times.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate effectively with other team members, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, particularly in a high-volume or upscale dining environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
