Inventory Clerk

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Associate. As an Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring efficient logistics operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans and ensure timely procurement of materials
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Collaborate with demand planning teams to forecast future inventory needs
- Implement category management strategies to optimize inventory assortment and availability
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance inventory management efficiency

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in MRP systems and inventory management software
- Strong data analysis skills for data mining and interpretation
- Knowledge of production plan and techniques
- Excellent negotiation skills to procure materials at competitive prices
- Familiarity with logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing
- Understanding of demand planning methodologies for accurate forecasting
- Experience in category management to optimize inventory assortment
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
