We are currently hiring a full-time, permanent **Blaster's Helper/Apprentice **based around the Princeton, NJ with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

As the Laborer / Blaster Helper, you will operate auxiliary equipment and assist equipment operators and blasters in the maintenance of all equipment and the loading, mixing, unloading, and preparation of explosive products for the customer. You will p erform basic maintenance of assigned vehicles in order assure its reliability and safe operation. Other duties will include:

- Read gauges and make adjustments to equipment to maintain proper performance in order to assure quality and accurate product delivery.
- Assist Equipment Operators and Blasters at blast site in order to safely serve the customer.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in shop, while operating equipment, and while on blast sites in order to protect personal safety and the safety of others.
- Maintain safe working conditions on and near the blast site.
- Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors.
- Comply with Loss Control Board mandates in support of the implementation of all policies improving the quality of blasting services and limiting liability exposure related to the blast event.
- Comply with appropriate areas of the HSE Management System and DNNA Engineering Standards.
- Proactively support Safety programs by participating in training and safety meetings.

This CDL, hazmat apprentice or Blaster apprenticeship

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Blaster's Helper or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Knowledge of MSHA and ATF regulations related to blasting operations is a plus
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including water trucks, forklifts, and Caterpillar machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and withstand physical demands of the job
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
