**RBT Position Overview**:
Responsible for maintaining quality of life and independence for Individuals by implementing their Individual Performance Plan objectives. Provides direct care as needed and supervision at all times to maintain a community-based home environment. Works in conjunction with BCBA in the implementation of LRC approved behavior intervention programs. Works with Behavior Assistants to ensure proper intervention methods are implemented. Assists with applicable behavior documentation, both daily and monthly for submittal to BCBA for completion of monthly data collection, graphs, etc. Assists with recreational activities and other community-based programming. Leads and assists with implementation of reactive strategies.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge and Completion of:_
- Basic philosophy of individual respect
- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds
- Extended standing and lifting may be required
- Must possess a valid state Florida Driver's License
- Must be twenty-one (21) years old and maintain eligibility for Agency auto insurance
- Must pass a drug screening
- Successful Completion of Registered Behavior Tech Certification and maintained annually
- Successful Completion of 20-hour Behavior Assistant Certification and maintained annually.
- Must receive Safety Care certification
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year experience with Individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disability
- Ability to:_
- Work under pressure and with interruptions and challenging deadlines
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Organize multiple assignments
- Demonstrate basic computer skills

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum Criteria:_
- High School diploma or GED OR
- One (1) year of college, vocational or technical training OR
- One (1) year experience with Individuals with developmental disabilities
- Special Requirements:_
- Valid driver's license
- Clear driving record
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Level II background screening
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- Blood Borne Pathogens/HIV training
- Medication Administration training
