Handyman/laborer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our properties. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development. The Majority of our Rental Properties are college rentals in the City of Newark, Delaware. We are looking for an individual who is professional and responsible for completing tasks within the houses that these Tenants live in. This position is for any tasks that may come up for the company such as fixing the inside of properties to sweeping up garbage outside of properties on slow days.

Below are a list of some of the responsibilities that will be asked of you:

- Appliance Repair
- Property Maintenance (Replace doors, trim, drywall repair, painting, plumbing and minor electrical work)
- Trash cleanup
- Communication with Tenants
- Communication with office staff on status of projects
- Asked to work some weekend during peak times (move in/move outs) Not required but it helps
- Daily Check ins with office

Requirements for Position
- Must provide own basic tools - we can provide specialized tools but do not provide basics such as drills, saws, wrenches etc...
- Car/truck for traveling and bringing tools - we do not provide a vehicle
- General Carpentry Skills
- General Plumbing and electrical skills
- Dry wall work
- Communication Skills

Preferred Skills
- Appliance trouble shooting and repair

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
