Operations Educator

**REPORTS TO**:Director, Referral Management**

:
The Operations Educator collaborates with leaders, to plan, create, implement, and deliver training in accordance with the department policies and procedures and in conjunction with the UM Training and Education outline and materials. This position will work closely with leadership, as well as the clinical educator to ensure consistency and program integrity.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- ** Training Program Development**:

- Design, develop, and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources, to support operational training programs.
- Create engaging and interactive training sessions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- ** Training Delivery**:

- Conduct training sessions for employees at all levels, including new hires, existing staff, and management, both in-person and virtually.
- Utilize various training methods and techniques, such as lectures, demonstrations, role-playing, and simulations, to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
- ** Content Management**:

- Maintain and update training materials and resources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to incorporate into training content as necessary.
- Establish a system for tracking employee progress and training completion.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that training programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback to management on employee performance and training outcomes.
- ** Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness through training initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and best practices identified during training sessions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in training and development.
- ** Leadership Assistance**:

- Assists leadership with input in the introductory evaluation period for new employees.
- Prepares and submits any required status or summary reports in a timely manner.
- Periodic weekends to address weekend employee training.
- Supports overall function of the Operations Department, including identification.
- Other duties as assigned.

**OFFICE LOCATION**:
Remote - Inside the US

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
- Proven experience in training and development, preferably in an operations or health care.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite product knowledge and be able to create and translate training materials
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Proficiency in instructional design principles and learning management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certifications in training and development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) are a plus.

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**:

- 5 years as a training experience
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, Zoom, MS Teams, and the ability to work within multiple medical management software systems
- Leadership/ motivational skills
- Facilitator of change and learning
- Excellent organizational skills and able to project manage the training course
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies and Productivity Standards
