Description:
At this time, a **Temporary Business Analyst(Risk Analyst)** is needed to be responsible for maintaining the VSC rate cards and adding value to the Risk Management team by managing and analyzing data, running reports, making recommendations, and providing insight into the evaluation of risk for service contracts and other products offered by Portfolio.

**This is a Temporary Position with an approximate length of 6 months.**

- ** Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes (Pivot Tables/VLookUps)**:

- ** Strong SQL knowledge is required**:

- ** A Broad Knowledge base with Project Management software tools or Ticketing databases (managing projects)**

**This is a Remote Career Opportunity**

**Schedule: Monday - Friday. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm**

**Compensation: $66,560.00 - $69.550.00. Depending on experience/background**

**Essential Functions**:

- Assist the Risk team in managing all rate cards and adjust or revise as necessary. Work closely with the team to assess risk and consider into rate card algorithms. Monitor that recommended rate card changes are released as discussed on the established effective date.
- Work closely to support the Risk Team to field rate change requests, review recommendations to understand the impact, and respond with approved revisions.
- Assist the Risk team in pulling together data and providing initial recommendations for recurring reviews summarizing risk exposure by product, ARC, dealership, etc.
- Prepare reserve and coverage comparisons between our programs and those of our competitors and supply a thorough report of the results. May include independent research or analysis of additional data.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Qualification Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- 3 to 4 years of experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field or a minimum of 3 years in a data or risk management role

**Work Environment and Physical Requirements**:

- Vision acuity required to include close vision, color vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to grasp objects such a telephone or computer mouse, finger dexterity to use a keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment
- Ability to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to hear and talk, both in person and by phone.
- Ability to spend extended hours in front of a computer screen
