IT Shows, Inc. (ITS), based in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking Project Analysts to support an upcoming project of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Response and Readiness, Division of State and Local Readiness (DSLR). The goal of this project is to assist in building and strengthening public health preparedness and response activities. The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base period with four, 12-month Option Periods.

Project Analysts must have at least two years of experience as well as an understanding of project management activities, including agile project management, Project Management Body of Knowledge, continuous quality improvement processes, current IT programs, and an understanding of strategic planning and bringing projects to completion. The scope of work will include the provision of the following services:
1. _**Project Management**_: The Project Analyst will provide leadership support and operational effectiveness; conduct division-wide program coordination and communication in support of division change management processes; provide project coordination and collaboration with operational timeline support involving input from CDC Centers Institute and Offices (CIOs); coordinate project tracking and status reporting; establish and manage a standardized project plan for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) solicitation process; establish and manage standardized project plans; and, develop and maintain plans for other division-wide activities, as needed.

2. _**Strategic Planning and Organizational Design**_: The Project Analyst will facilitate the development and division of branch level strategic plans and stakeholder engagement strategies; determine the impact of strategic plans for organizational design; facilitate planning sessions and draft planning documentation; monitor and report on the strategy(ies) execution; and, develop strategic/project plans based on the PHEP Lifecycle.

3. _**Data Management Strategy and Visualization**_: The Project Analyst will assess current data management processes and systems and develop recommendations for improvement; and, assist with the development of reports and products.

4. _**Technical Assistance**_: The Project Analyst will support the development and implementation of the technical assistance strategy to include coordination across work units; support training initiatives; support the development and implementation of a Community of Practice strategy and platform; and identify next steps to improve gaps and areas of opportunity.

5. _**Continued Program Support and Development**_: The Project Analyst will support program requests; support the PHEP processes for the next project period; support solicitation development, communication and execution; provide issues management; and support project planning and documentation.

**Qualifications**:
College Degree and Minimum 2 years of Experience.

Working within government contracting space preferred.

Pay: $33.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
