Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Specialist to join our team. As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets to extract valuable insights and support data-driven decision making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies
- Cleanse, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats
- Perform data analysis using various tools and techniques
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Develop and implement data quality control measures
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets
- Create visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Data Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database design principles and SQL
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift) and server administration
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive meaningful insights
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.43 - $25.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
