**Job Summary**:

The trainee will receive training and exposure to internal operations at the facility through hands-on experience in manufacturing, quality, technical services, and other areas of the company to gain an understanding of the facility’s operations. This will be a full-time position.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Participate in training program that includes equipment operation and production.
- Assist in key manufacturing projects.
- Assist in key technical projects.
- Assist in anticipated facility renovations.
- Present findings and lessons learned to leadership throughout the internship.
- Internal - Regularly interact with Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Technical Services, Receiving, Manufacturing, and Shipping.
- External - Occasional interaction with suppliers, customers, and the corporate office.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Background in a technical field, prefer Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong spatial and mechanical reasoning skills.
- Communication - demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional work groups including suppliers, customers, staff, and hourly associates, both verbally and in writing. Excellent listening skills.
- Creativity - generate original ideas, encourage new ways of thinking, explore options, and develop innovative solutions.

**Education and Experience**:

- Previous internship experience preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Lift components that may weigh up to 30 pounds. Team lift heavier components.
- Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
- Walk short distances in a manufacturing environment.
- Climb stairs.
