As the Insurance and Eligibility Specialist at Functional Kids Therapy Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our clinic. This position is responsible for managing various administrative tasks, including scheduling, health insurance authorization, referral management, and eligibility verification. We are looking for a very reliable, detail-oriented, and organized individual who can contribute to the success of our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Scheduling**:
Coordinate and manage the appointment schedule for therapists and clients.
Communicate with therapists and clients to confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
Ensure the clinic's schedule is optimized for maximum efficiency and productivity.

**Health Insurance Authorization and Eligibility**:
Verify and confirm insurance coverage and eligibility for clients.
Process insurance authorization requests for therapy services.
Keep abreast of changes in insurance policies and procedures.

**Front Desk Management**:
Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

**Records Management**:
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Assist in filing and organizing documents related to therapy services.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client information.

**Billing Support**:
Assist with billing and invoicing processes as needed.
Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any billing-related issues.

**Team Support**:
Work closely with therapists and clinical staff to support their administrative needs.
Assist in ordering and managing office supplies and equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in office management, scheduling, and health insurance authorization is required.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using office software and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of health insurance policies and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Reliable and punctual.
- A passion for working with children and a commitment to our mission is highly desirable.

**Benefits**: BENEFITS NEGOTIABLE- 90 day waiting period for Health Insurance, 50% of medical premiums paid after 90 day waiting period, 3% IRA match, PTO after one year of employment, paid holidays (4 a year) after 1 year of employment, short term disability paid after 90 days of employment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
