Taekwondo Instructor

**Company Overview**:
We are Champions Martial Arts, a renowned Taekwondo franchise from New York, with over 80 locations across the state. As we expand into California, we are seeking a highly motivated Taekwondo Master to join our team **full-time at our second location in Diamond Bar, CA. Compensation includes a base salary (DOE) plus commission.**

**Requirements**:

- Age 21 and over
- Prior 2- 3 years of Taekwondo teaching experience is mandatory
- Must be available to work following sift ; Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm & Saturdays from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm Total - 40 hrs a week
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to encourage student participation

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and deliver engaging lessons following the franchise curriculum
- Provide instruction and mentorship in Taekwondo techniques
- Cultivate an environment that promotes student engagement and success
- Assess student progress and offer constructive feedback
- Implement effective behavior management strategies for a safe learning atmosphere
- Ensure students' safety during all instructional activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and achievements
- Must manage and conduct all studio classes independently.
- Occasional parent consultation
- Follow up with new leads.

**Experience**:

- Prior 2- 3 years of teaching experience is mandatory
- Prior tournament experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Chinese or Korean is advantageous but not required.
