**Position Summary**:
Under the Supervisor of Admissions, correctly identifies patient demographics and processes data entry. Provides excellent customer assistance, and performs various clerical duties. Gathers and completes all information for birth certificates and death certificates as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to type with acceptable speed and accuracy.
- Ability to operate microcomputer, 10- key calculator and other office equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form required.
- Work requires exceptional interpersonal skills to interview and obtain information from patients and interact with other MRGMC personnel and outside personnel.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Medical Staff, Answering Service Clientele, support personnel and the public required.
- An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
- Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
- Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.

**Position Classification: Non-exempt**

**Compensation Range: $15.50 to $20.86**
