**Responsibilities**:
1. Material Preparation:

- Assist in the preparation and delivery of construction materials, including bricks, mortar, and other supplies, to masons on-site.
- Ensure that all materials are organized and readily accessible for the construction team.

2. Equipment Maintenance:

- Maintain and clean construction tools and equipment, including mixers, saws, and scaffolding, to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

3. Site Setup:

- Assist in the setup and dismantling of scaffolding and other temporary structures, following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Help create a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.

4. Mixing Mortar:

- Prepare mortar and other construction mixes according to specifications, ensuring proper ratios and consistency.
- Deliver mixed materials to masons in a timely manner to maintain workflow.

5. Support Masons:

- Work closely with masons to facilitate the construction process, including passing tools, providing materials, and performing other tasks as directed.
- Assist in the installation of bricks, blocks, or other masonry units as needed.

6. Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to promote a secure working environment.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Bring a positive, encouraging, and learning attitude to the job daily.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and processes.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a construction-related role is a plus.
- Work Environment: The Mason Tender will primarily work on construction sites, and the role may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 43 per week
