Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
The following dental hygiene assisting duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned:

- Distributes and collects completed documentation from patient including medical history.
- Sets up and breaks down treatment rooms, cleans & sterilizes treatment room.
- Sterilize & maintain equipment & instruments.
- Upholds office policy including HIPAA & OSHA
- Greets and escorts patients into operatories and escorts them out.
- Performs assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning & maintenance duties.
- Reviews medical history and inputs into CPS. Asks initial consult questions from patient, records information and takes intra-oral pictures for doctor. Fills out exam notes as dictated by doctor.
- Ability to take clinically appropriate xrays.
- Obtain and review needed consent for patient treatment.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of Dental Assisting Program preferred
