This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York.

Dune Deck Beach Club is seeking a Valet Attendant to join the Valet & Transportation Department.

This is a seasonal position from May 2024 to September 2024.

Goals and Objectives
- Service goals - providing world class service to all members, guests, and team members.
- Transactions completed - promptly respond to all member or guests requests promptly.
- Accuracy goals - accomplish tasks in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet members upon arrival and departure at the valet stand
- Communicate arrivals to Security and Member Services
- Park and retrieve Member/Guest vehicles in specific areas in an efficient and safe manner
- Provide Member assistance and information, such as giving directions or handling baggage, wheelchairs, etc.
- Keep parking areas clean and orderly (i.e garbage, weeds, raking of gravel.)
- Wash members and club cars as needed
- Monitor pickle ball courts for debris and keep station stocked and tidy
- Communicate with departments and coordinate transportation as needed
- Maintain a real-time valet log of all member/guest vehicles on-property
- Maintain clean shuttle transportation vehicles

**Qualifications**:

- No specific degree required - though a bachelor's may be desirable
- 2 years working in an aquatic environment preferred.
- Lifeguard Certification, preferrably Ellis certification (pool and dark water), required.
- CPR, First Aid, AED Certification required.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions in English, additional languagues desirable.

Additional Requirements
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless service while accommodating member requests.
- Promote activities, events, and club information effectively in accordance with brand standards
- Assist with club and member events as assigned
- Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary
- Any other duties as assigned
