Seeking hard-working, responsible, organized, and ethical Paralegal to join our team. **Three to five years** **or more experience as a paralegal required**. If you possess these attributes, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well with others, and are familiar with the basics of Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel), we invite you to apply. Tabs/PracticeMaster database knowledge is a plus. Salary depends on experience. Benefits and 401(k) plan.

**Primary Job Responsibilities**:

- Interacting with current/potential clients, various agencies, offices and court staff
- Answering the phone, making calls, returning calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Mailing correspondence and calculating postage
- Conducting research to support legal documents/proceedings
- Assisting with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Handling and safeguarding confidential records professionally and responsibly
- Scanning, filing, photocopying, and faxing documents
- Tracking and organizing activities in our practice management software
- Recording and storing client information in PracticeMaster database
- Court filings and errands (e.g. Post Office, Courthouse, etc.)
- Light to moderate lifting

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a paralegal **required**
- Ability to follow up on tasks, calendaring, court hearings
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Principled work ethic

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
