Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutritional counseling and guidance to patients, developing personalized meal plans, and monitoring their progress. Your expertise in health coaching, tube feeding, diagnostic evaluation, and patient assessment will be crucial in helping our patients achieve their health goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- The role of the Registered Dietician is to create a nutrition plan to improve the health and physical condition of patients. Duties include, but are not limited to, analyzing a patient’s health status, goals, and dietary restrictions while maintaining progress and providing educational tools for clients to use.

a. Assessing nutritional needs of residents;
b. Developing and planning appropriate regular and therapeutic diets;
c. Developing and implementing continuing education programs for dietary services and nursing personnel;
d. Collaborating effectively with other direct care staff and practitioners to assess and address nutritional issues in the facility’s population;
e. Helping the nursing staff select residents who may be fed by paid feeding assistants;
f. Helping the administrator and facility staff review and maintain appropriate quality of meal preparation and menus;
g. Helping the administrator and facility staff develop and review nutrition-related policies and procedures;
h. Helping the administrator and food services manager review appropriate food safety and sanitation; and

i. Providing nutrition-related advice and counseling to residents and families.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics in Nutrition from accredited college or university
- Registered Dietitian (RD) license/certification required
- Proven experience as a Dietitian or similar role
- Must have, a minimum, 5 years experience as a Dietician in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $61,952.00 - $80,536.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
