Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Park Ranger. As a Park Ranger, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and preserving the natural beauty of our community. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of cottagers, their families and guests while also protecting the park's wildlife and natural resources.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine patrols to ensure visitor safety and compliance with park rules and regulations
- Provide information and assistance to the community, including answering questions, giving directions, and providing recommendations for recreational activities
- Conduct educational programs and interpretive tours to promote awareness and appreciation of the community's natural features
- Monitor and maintain facilities, including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash bins, and performing basic maintenance tasks
- Assist with the enforcement of community rules and regulations, including issuing citations when necessary
- Conduct wildlife management activities, such as monitoring populations, conducting surveys, and implementing conservation measures
- Participate in search and rescue operations as needed
- Collaborate with other staff and agencies to coordinate events and programs

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques for maintaining park grounds
- Proficiency in using GPS devices for navigation purposes
- Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in landscape maintenance
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with visitors or wildlife encounters
- Excellent customer service skills to provide assistance and information to park visitors

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
