**Description**

The Foreman will ensure and accept responsibility shop space and equipment efficiency, while coordinating the workload of shop and field mechanics in conformance with sales and customer orders for the Construction Machinery Division.

**Responsibilities**:
The Foreman is responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the following:

- Assign service jobs and work areas to employees
- Prepares warranty claim repair orders for construction machinery
- Analyzes status of work in progress and keeps service manager informed
- Prepares estimates on shop overhauls
- Interviews and hires personnel as needed
- Issues required manuals and service bulletins to shop and field mechanics
- Oversees housekeeping, frequency of safety meetings
- Promotes good welfare among the company and its’ division
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must have 5 year(s) previous experience
- E.D. or High School Diploma
- Trade school or special training preferred

**Requirements**: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have a working knowledge of the above position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives
- Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards.
- Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements as outlined by the Department of Transportation
- Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
- Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend and twist several times a day
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days
- Must be dependable and work independent
- Must maintain good client relations
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment
- Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others
- Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
