**General Responsibilities**:
Sensofly is a Southern California center of excellence for drone training, photography, and engineering services. We have trained clients from a variety of industries (real estate, construction, facilities, public safety, and more). We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Drone Instructor throughout Orange County, where you can share your passion and knowledge of drones.

Also looking for instructors throughout Southern California. Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Inland Empire

In this role, you will be teaching drone lessons in one or more of the following topics: flight fundamentals, photography, video, mapping, FPV racing, Part 107 preparation. This part time job has flexible hours and class times and locations are arranged depending on student and instructor availability. Teaching locations will occur in the target region specified in the job title and will typically be a public park or company property (for corporate customers). Class sizes range from 1 to 20 students. Maximum student teacher ratio of 6, large classes will have be multiple instructors.

**Responsibilities**:
Teach drone classes in one or more of the following topics
- Intro to Drones
- Drones for Kids (afterschool & summer)
- Photography & Video
- Mapping & Inspection
- FPV
- Part 107 Test Preparation

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Must be able to travel to various teaching locations (within your local region of Southern California)
- Ability to work with students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, ages, and skill levels.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge and ability to demonstrate skill in drone piloting and instruction.
- Passion for drones and teaching
- Ability to accept on lessons with as little as 3 days notice.
- FAA Part 107 certified
- At least 100 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on DJI Drone
- Own a DJI Drone that students can use in the class.
- Teaching experience
- Drone specialty skills (Mapping, GIS, thermal, inspection)
- Technical skills (build FPV or custom drones)
- Creative skills (Photography, video, and post processing editing)
- Manned Pilot Certifications (i.e. Private Pilot, Instrument rating)
- Multilingual (Spanish and Chinese preferred)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 19 per week
