**Job Title: Specimen Accessioner**
**Location: 1300 East Touhy Ave Des Plaines IL 60018**
**Duration: 6 Months**
**Shift: 2nd Shift (2 pm to 10:30pm)**
**Rate: $ 23/Hr**.
**Description**
- Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis.
- Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms
- Destroy specimens; as needed.
- Clean and maintain work area daily.
- Inspect all trash bags once aliquoting process is completed to ensure sample and document removal.
- Process Triage request.
- Assist Sample Handling area.
- Prepare samples for shipment.
- Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information.
- Must comply with company policy.
**Job Type**: Contract
Pay: From $22.40 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
